Property VAL — 50 Ogallala Aquifer Assessments

The Ogallala Aquifer is collapsing under 50 million acres of farmland. These farmers don't know what their land is worth — or what it could become. Property VAL reveals it.

VAL(x) Calculation

True Civilizational Value

True Civilizational Value

$4,470,000,000,000

This is not the funding ask. This is what this project contributes to civilization when scored against the full GREAT PUNCH framework.

Methodology: VAL(x) is Lunaeum's own framework estimate — not an appraisal, valuation, or investment recommendation, and not a measure of funds raised, funds sought, or any recoverable asset. See the Framework for methodology.

About This Project

WHAT IT IS: Property VAL is the world's first 9-zone property valuation engine — scoring land not just by surface market price, but across every vertical zone from mineral rights (Zone 0) underground to air rights (Zone 7+6) above. It calculates the TRUE VAL of a property using the Great Punch Framework: what the land actually contributes to food systems, water security, carbon cycles, ecological health, and civilizational survival — not just what a real estate agent priced it at last year. WHY IT MATTERS: The Ogallala Aquifer — the underground water source beneath 8 states and 50 million acres of American farmland — is being drained 8x faster than it recharges. In many areas, it has 25 years of water left. The farmers above it are selling land at surface market prices with no idea what they're sitting on: water rights, carbon credit potential, soil restoration value, subterranean mineral rights, and regenerative agricultural opportunity worth hundreds of times the asking price. Example: a 5-acre property listed at $343,000 has a True VAL of $89.33 million — a 260× multiplier — when all 9 zones are scored. WHAT FUNDING DOES: This campaign funds 50 full field assessments for distressed agricultural landowners in Lubbock, Hale, Floyd, Crosby, Terry, and Yoakum counties, TX — the heart of the Ogallala crisis zone. Each assessment produces a full 9-zone VAL report, carbon credit pre-certification analysis, soil restoration roadmap, and True VAL vs. market price comparison. WHY YOU SHOULD BACK IT: This is not abstract. These are real farmers, real land, real water running out. Property VAL gives them the data to make better decisions — hold, restore, sell at true value, or transition to regenerative agriculture. Every assessment funded is a landowner empowered with the truth about what they own.

Property VAL campaign launched — Ogallala farmers need this now

Property VAL is live. The Ogallala Aquifer has 25 years of water left in many of the counties we're targeting. Farmers in Lubbock, Hale, Floyd, Crosby, Terry, and Yoakum counties are selling land — right now — at surface market prices with no idea what they're sitting on. We've completed the 9-zone VAL methodology for the Texas Panhandle assessment zone. The first landowner contact list is ready. The moment this campaign hits Milestone 1, we begin field work. Every dollar here funds a conversation that could change what a farmer does with their land.

About the $813.8Q Figure

The Great Punch Gap is Lunaeum's own estimate, not a market measurement. It is calculated by summing the unpriced and under-priced asset classes across the nine value layers (L0 through L7, including the L2B flora & fauna sub-layer) using the VAL(x) methodology, then comparing that total against what markets currently price. It is a directional, framework-derived figure — not audited, not an appraisal, and not investment advice. Read the Framework for methodology.
